Frequently asked questions
Everything teams ask before switching.
You connect an API key from your own AI provider. Groq, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Google Gemini, Mistral, DeepSeek, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. There is no built-in or default key: you pick the provider, and Kerux uses your key to draft and resolve tickets. Your AI usage is billed by your provider under your own terms, never by us.
Creating one takes a couple of minutes. The in-app setup guide walks you through getting a key from a provider and connecting it. Most teams are done before their coffee cools.
No. Kerux never uses your data to train models. Ticket content is sent to the AI provider you configured only to classify and draft replies, under that provider's own terms.
Most teams are live the same day: forward your support address to your Kerux inbox, connect an AI key, and add a few help-center articles so the AI has real answers to ground itself in.
There's no one-click importer yet, but switching is simple: point your support email forwarding at Kerux and new conversations flow in immediately. Your ticket history stays readable in your old tool.
